CourseAlive is being designed so instructors and students can use the core experience with different devices, input methods, motion preferences, and visual settings. We are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA and test important journeys with keyboard and browser automation.

Current practices

• Keyboard-accessible navigation and visible focus indicators
• Light and dark themes with readable contrast targets
• Reduced-motion behavior for decorative movement
• Alternative text, captions, labels, and educational summaries where available
• Responsive layouts that preserve browser zoom
• Poster or print fallbacks planned for interactive course visuals

Known limitations

Some experimental 3D controls, third-party embeds, generated media, and complex mathematical interactions still require additional assistive-technology review. Each institutional pilot should include accessibility review for the selected course content, devices, LMS environment, and learner needs.
