What is CourseAlive?

CourseAlive is an ArianTech platform for building interactive STEM lessons with instructors and institutions. Arian University is the separate destination for courses published by ArianTech.

What can the current platform demonstrate?

The current browser platform supports structured slide presentations, prepared seekable lesson playback with synchronized audio, video, captions, and timeline actions, professor annotation tools, live student visual follow, local student notes, browser links and permitted embeds, and reusable interactive visuals.

How do live visual follow, audio, and replay differ?

Live visual follow is available in the current demonstration: students can follow the professor’s slide and annotations. Production live audio requires an institutional pilot with approved identity, network, consent, support, and operating controls. Recording a live class and exact replay of recorded classroom activity remain longer-term roadmap items; current references to replay mean prepared, seekable lesson playback.

How does the instructor shape each course?

The instructor defines the learning outcomes, checks academic accuracy, sets the teaching sequence, controls the classroom experience, and approves the release. The source-grounded production workflow and its automation are in development. Today’s current demonstration supports prepared, seekable lessons with synchronized narration, captions, video, and visual actions.

Can a course be embedded in Brightspace or another LMS?

A browser lesson can be opened by direct link or embedded in an LMS content area today where the institution permits it. That browser delivery is distinct from a production LTI integration, which adds institution-approved launch verification, role claims, authorization, roster access, privacy requirements, and support responsibilities.

How is institutional access configured?

Each pilot defines identity, LTI authorization, roster and role handling, analytics policy, retention, and operational support with the institution. These requirements become part of the integration scope and approval path.

How are interactive visuals reused?

A lesson selects a shared visual by ID, version, teaching profile, preset, parameters, and display mode. The visual remains in the central library, where approved improvements can support every course that uses it.

How are visual examples reviewed?

Every example displays its current status. Engineering previews complete technical and course-adoption review, while specialized content such as anatomy receives qualified independent review before learner publication.

Can the platform support more than one language?

The course and player structures can select locale-specific slides, narration, captions, and timelines. Visual models can remain language-neutral or retain required English technical terminology. Each additional language still needs reviewed content and synchronized media.

How does a pilot begin?

Start with one difficult concept, session, or bounded course need. We identify the learning outcome, existing materials, instructor reviewer, delivery context, reusable components, open integration questions, and a reviewable first scope.

How should I share a course idea?

Use the course-pilot inquiry form and share the course or topic, learning challenge, available source material, and delivery context. Keep the first message limited to non-sensitive information and leave out student records.
